Annual draft "Why didn't we pick him" contest - 2012

Every year there seems to be a guy or 2 that teams miss on and they end up regretting it big time. Whether they passed on the player who was there to pick or identified him and failed to move up to pick him. Guys like Klay Thompson, Iman Shumpert, Avery Bradley, Paul George, etc. etc. It's usually a guy who had specific question marks leading up to the draft identified by the so-called "experts". This year the "experts" are are putting the "selfish" label on Austin Rivers, and taking shots at his so called lack of size or athletic ability.

And yes a lot of people on Hoopus would rather draft a guy who played power forward in college and switch him to small forward or even 2 guard. I know the clip above is only an exhibition, but those types of skills are RARE even in the NBA. His handles remind me of Kyrie Irving's. Dude has the ball on a string. I am seeing a taller Kyrie Irving but with less lead guard skills. His focus is on scoring first and foremost. I for one think that will translate to the NBA, which will make him this year's "Why didn't we pick him" contest winner for 2012. Especially for the wolves. Rip away on my choice if you must, I'd be interested to hear your choice as well.
