#getiggy

Hey everybody. Long time lurker, first time poster here- but screw the cute introduction: those of us who acknowledge that Iguodala is a better overall value for the team than Pau need to make that opinion felt. As much as I've wanted to resist the twitter machine, I must admit that it has an impressive ability in spreading information and ideas like a Colorado wildfire (way too soon?). My thought process behind this shameless plug to get back on the #getiggy campaign goes something like this: If even 50% of the twolves fans I see showing up on the official site's twitter feed were even slightly CH-educated our fanbase would have more to talk about than oversimplified mini-rants about why or why not we should pursue Pau. (And hopefully avoid tweets like: "Twolves will not re-sign Anthony Randolph. More worse of a decision then not playing him. The whole offseason for the #Twolves=#FAIL." -DMorris_11). Obviously there is quite a difference between an average fan and those who, like myself, spend waaay too many hours here essentially "studying" just to try and speculate how exactly such a promising young team will squander some amazing opportunities yet again. Thus, maybe it's our responsibility to make this bare minimum attempt in developing support for the long-standing CH groupthought that Iguodala is the player we most need (that is "available") to become a contender. Go ahead and call me naive, I deserve it. The idea that Kahn would make a decision based on prevailing fan support is ludicrous (and making a good one on his own even moreso). But considering the intel claiming he has actually spoken to the Sixers about an Iggy trade, I have no choice but to believe we can educate a portion of our fans to the point where they can at least see past the trade of least resistance in Pau and create a buzz for something better. In the spirit of (Chase dunking over) P-Diddy, tweet or die!

P.S. good to see the legit Madison representation here, I just graduated from UW. But thank God I'm not a Bucks fan.
