Player Movement
- Marcus Camby was traded to the New York Knicks in a sign-and-trade. The Houston Rockets will receive Toney Douglas, Josh Harrelson, Jerome Jordan and two 2nd round picks. Camby's new deal is worth $13.2 million over 3 years
- Steve Novak agreed to return to the New York Knicks with a 4-year, $15 million deal
- DeJuan Blair is upset with his lack of a role and lack of playing time with the San Antonio Spurs
- J.R. Smith has agreed to re-sign with the Knicks for 2-years at $2.8 million per season
- Boris Diaw has agreed to a 2-year, $9 million deal to re-sign with the Spurs
- Danny Green also re-signed with the Spurs. His deal is for 3-years, $12 million
- Nenad Krstic signed a 3-year deal with CSKA Moscow, despite interest from NBA teams this offseason
