Ok so if I were a betting man I'd say Portland runs out the clock on this thing but ultimately matches Batum. The fact a sign and trade didn't materialize points to the Blazers keeping Nic on, even with a sizable pay bump. So the big question is what next? Even if the other proposed moves actually happen is the offseason considered a success? I can't see us higher than a 6-7 seed in the west with the proposed roster changes. This would put us a collision course in the 1st round with either the Lakers/Spurs/Thunder, none of whom I like our chances against. So I guess the million dollar question is whether or not Kahn makes another move. I don't see a lot of game changing possibilities out there either now or potentially at the trade deadline next year. So where do we go from here?
