According to Dwight Jaynes, Nic Batum has said that he doesn't want anything to do with the Blazers, and wants to play for the Wolves (and who can blame him?) Blazers Edge has more, and although it would seem that a sign and trade will still be necessary, this has to severely reduce any leverage the Blazers may have had in negotiations with Minnesota.
