Dominic McGuire

Dominic Mcguire Wants to Stay A Warrior....

"Meanwhile, several teams are interested in McGuire, according to the source. None more than Minnesota, which wants to pair McGuire with Nicolas Batum — Portland’s restricted free agent who the Timberwolves signed to an offer sheet."

I am in a perpetual state of learning more about this league, and I must admit that reading this rumor tonight was my first encounter of the name Dominic McGuire. Okay, so nba.com says he's a forward who averaged less than 4 pts a game last season in under 15mpg. He's been in the league for 5 years and has bounced around from team to team.

Here's a scouting report from Golden State of Mind: "McGuire is built rock solid and he uses that muscle. He hustles after every rebound. He attacks the rim, but not with reckless abandon or anything. He just uses his athleticism to his advantage. He also has a great attitude. He never complains and just hustles. Every team needs a guy like him and there simply aren't too many hustle guys like him in this era of NBA ball.

The best thing about him is his defense. He's quick enough for a 6'7" small forward (if he had a consistent outside shot, he could be moved to the 2) to beat the guy he's covering to the spot."

So....thoughts? Is this coming from Minnesota's FO or from Golden State?
