Game is on NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus). Andrei Kirilenko and Alexey Shved are set to take on the Chinese National team in the first game of the day in London. China is coming off of a 16 point loss to Group B favorite Spain. Russia, on the other hand, will try to follow up a 20 point victory over Great Britain, which featured a 35 point performance on 14/17 shooting from Kirilenko, and a 16 point, 13 assist masterpiece from Shved.
The Chinese team features just one NBA player, 7 foot Yi Jianlian of the Dallas Mavericks. Yi was selected 6th overall in the 2007 NBA draft, and has not met expectations. Yi is on his 4th different NBA team since being entering the league, and has spent some time in the D-league.
