What else can be said that hasn't been repeated, over and (very genuinely) over again?
On August 8th, I woke up at 4am, I had to get up early to catch a very important flight. This trip was everything to me, I had to get to a meeting that would very likely impact my career enormously. It was not an everyday thing for me.
My flight didn't leave until 6:40, I thought I left myself with plenty of time, getting up so early. I had never parked at the airport before, I figured I would just do that since it was less than a day.
I parked and couldn't find my way to the actual airport. I wandered aimlessly for awhile before figuring out the right way to go.
I remember rolling my eyes as some high strung woman overreacted to a delay caused by a family checking their stroller through security. After that I grabbed some coffee and made my way to my gate. Finally comfortable, I refreshed my twitter on my phone.
Boom.
Like I said at the top, What else can be said?
I am not a frequent enough poster at this place to be recognizable, but I'm here almost every day. My last Twitter "mention" was from Tim Allen, he told me AK-47 was quite good in the Euro League last year.
This place is special, even for those that don't always post. On one of the more important days of my life, I was stunned with sadness, filled with grief over someone I never met, though greatly admired.
RIP Tim Allen
