It's been a bit slow on CH lately, so I thought I would try to liven things up a bit with some Wolves-related discussion.
Assuming the Timberwolves make the playoffs, which realistic match-up would you think could be most advantageous for them in the first round of the playoffs? Which would be the one that you would most like to see? Which would be the worst? Who could/couldn't they beat? Obviously this would all be very circumstantial and speculative, but what else is there to talk about relating to the NBA in September?
So what do you think?
EDIT:
I realized this post could do with a little more structure, so tell me what you think about these specific questions:
1. Which realistic match-up is most advantageous for the Wolves?
Some below have already said the Clippers in a 4-5 seed, and I'm inclined to agree, though we shouldn't underestimate Chris Paul. Any other suggestions that seem particularly advantageous?
2. Which is the least advantageous?
All of us homers might find this one tougher to answer, but as I've mentioned in comments below I'm terrified of the seasoned Spurs, and just because of their history, the Lakers will almost certainly rip our hearts out in the most excruciating way possible.
3. Which would be most fun to watch?
Just based on styles, talent, and youth, I think Wolves-Grizz or Wolves-Nuggets would be a super entertaining series no matter who wins.
