The twelfth player on our tour of T'wolves by minutes played adds fuel to the Big Ten discussion sparked by my last post, as he is the seventh guy on the list to hail from the conference. Like Alando Tucker, he's also of recent vintage, playing 29 minutes for MN in 2010 and scoring more points (15) than anyone above (below?) him on the list. Unfortunately, Target Center was to be the last stop in this first round pick's short NBA career.
So whose name is an anagram for "A Mirage Cure"? The answer lies beyond the jump...
The answer is... Maurice Ager, who likely spoke often of the pompatus of love. Dallas picked him 28th overall in 2006, MN signed him as a free agent 9/24/10 and waived him less than two months later.Ager had a memorable college career. Since the pros didn't pan out for him, he has taken his talents to the music industry, which is not uncommon for ballers these days. You can follow him on twitter at @moeager or on FB. His website is here.
