Game On/ Does Tired Count? Min/Dallas Music Preview

Stay connected for news and updates

So here we are just before the second night of a back-to-back in Texas, and the 4th game in a tough road trip. The team has been running out of gas in the fourth quarter and sometimes even earlier. They are short-handed and lacking any real threat at making consistent outside shots. We fans have to be feeling some of this fatigue as well; as hard as the core group has been playing, they simply don't have the all-star they need to win consistently. Maybe there is nothing we can do to arouse the team enough to overcome superior talent, maybe we and the team are simply too exhausted to mount another charge at the enemy, maybe we are hoping that nobody will notice that we let this opportunity pass without giving our best effort...

Really? Can this really be the end? To be stuck inside of Dallas with the Dirk Nowitski blues again?

I don't bleeping think so! There are plays to be made and there are songs to be sung, let's do this thing!

Hailing from Austin, Texas, Danny Schmidt is a singer/songwriter who is shacking up with Carrie Elkins and they are making beautiful music together: I give you Company of Friends

They do a really nice cover of this song by a local boy who did okay for himself:

As we seem stuck in a relentless grind, coming up short too often, we need to remember that there is an end to these travails someday soon, for all these things shall pass(whether it be by Shved or by Rubio, or as a part of RA's offensive schemes).

Danny and Carrie are on Redhouse records these days, so they have a strong local connection.

Come on Wolves let's chase down some horses!
