Yes, the Wolves are going through a touch patch currently. Yes, they are facing perhaps the best team in the NBA next. Yes, we are finally going to share some SoCal musical favorites to cheer ourselves up in preparation for the Wolves bouncing back now that they've returned home.
Last time we played the Clips, we explored Buffalo's music scene in a tribute to one of the franchise's previous homes. This time we are diving in to the entertainment capital of the world. I am overwhelmed by all the musicians I could proffer, so I am taking the easy way out for now.
Living in LA the last three years, I constantly pass streets and communities that I know from song lyrics. Let me share a few with you:
Mulholland... Ventura Boulevard... Encino... let's hear it for the Valley!

These were just off the top of my head; I am sure there are plenty more, such as a little old lady from Pasadena and Ventura Highway, to name a couple. But let me end with a song performed at an NBA Championship ring ceremony - something we hope to have in Minnesota in the near future.
