The Grizzlies will fall below the luxury tax threshold after sending Marreese Speights, Wayne Ellington, Josh Selby and a future first-round draft pick to Cleveland for Jon Leuer.
As you can see in this trade to get the Grizzlies under the luxury tax threshold they traded former Timberwolves player Wayne Ellington to the Cavs. Ellington was traded to the Grizzlies for Dante Cunningham this past offseason.
I wish the best of luck to Wayne and hope he shines with the Cavaliers.
