In the 29th game of the year, the Minnesota Timberwolves take down the Denver Nuggets in an improbable comeback.
Enjoy. The. Season.
Let's borrow from vjl110:
Hobbits really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month, and yet after a hundred years they can still surprise you
There is no good way to recap this game except to say that Hobbits are amazing creatures. That's it. Kevin Love went to the locker room with a hand injury in the 3rd and I was all ready to post a "We Need To Talk About Kevin" jpeg recap and then....well, it happened. The Hobbit went nuts. Luke hit everything. They got to the line like crazy. The guards showed up. The Wolves played like they wanted to win.
They did so on the road against one of the toughest home teams playing on the tail end of a back to back in the hardest place in the league to win on the tail end of a back to back....a day after they played like dogs against Utah. JJ for the Governor of Puerto Rico!!!
Go Wolves! If they can pull one out against Portland on Saturday (while everybody is watching Vikes/Pack) they will have turned the doggiest of all dog games into a 2-1 stretch against their closest peers. That would be an amazing thing considering the way Love is playing and all of the injuries.
Fingers crossed and, again, GO WOLVES!
PS: Shved is amazing.
