Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has waived forward Lazar Hayward.
Hayward signed with the Timberwolves as a free agent on Dec. 31. The 6-6 forward appeared in two games for Minnesota and totaled 2 points, 2 assists and 1 rebound in 12 minutes.
