Tao Te Wolves, Ch. 11: Dont Force It

It has always seemed to me that the truly difficult-to-watch segments of Wolves-dom arise when the team doesn't play within itself. Injuries, strong starts followed by lackluster finishes, failure to take advantage of matchups, difficulty in moving with grace, stagnant passing and cutting -- the hallmarks of basketball discombobulation that can be (I think [obviously] ) quickly and effectively mitigated by calming the mind, and refocusing on the moment -- Hurry Slowly.

In soccer, when more complex strategies aren't coming to fruition, it is often best to go back to the basics: the give-and-go. Simple - and when executed crisply, virtually unstoppable. Pick and roll is not a direct bball analogy to this, but it's pretty close. The wolves need to make strong cuts to the hoop off the ball, and stay aware of teammates' movements.
