The Spanish Supreme Court has sentenced a similar case in a judgement dated last 2-5. According to the Court, contracts signed by parents of children under 16, and also of children under 18 who do not live on their own, are invalid if they have heavy fines or similar effects that limit their future decisions. Ir order to give validity to such contracts, the Court says contract should have been approved previously by a Judge before parents could sign it. The Supreme Court revokes a previous judgement by a Barcelona Court, wich had said the contract was valid and more than 3 million should be paid for a contract signed when the player was 13 years old.
