We believe in the wolfly howl, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us in 2004, but that's no matter--to-morrow we will jump higher, hit more threes.
Well, that last tilt certainly was interesting.
Against the Thunder
, the Wolves were able to stay in the game because of (for them) above average 3P shooting (.353) and outstanding bench play, with 4 reserves clocking in with double figure points while posting the only positive +/- marks on the squad.
Against the Warriors
, the Wolves shot 1-11 from the great beyond and were unable to get any sort of meaningful production from their bench (4-18 from the floor for 11 points) with no reserve posting a positive +/- mark (all 5 starters were net positives).
The bench disaster is fascinating to look at on PopcornMachine
. After watching the starters log their first stint of the night, the quadruplets Shved, Ham, Stiemer, and Barea all had their socks blown off within 4-5 minutes (with the Warriors going at, through, and beyond Stiemer) forcing Adelman to get his starters back in as quickly as possible.
The starters then made their way out of halftime and played nearly the entire 3rd quarter before the roster management descended into necessary chaos.
Tonight the Wolves go up against the Suns
, or, as they are otherwise known, Wolves West.
While I would like nothing more than to claim the Wolvesdom tweet of the year for Seth McFarlane man
splainhosting the Oscars, J-Pete walks away with the crown:
At the very least he's the leader in the clubhouse.
Tonight's tilt has all the makings of an awful, yet close, game. No other current has the stench of David Kahn on it more than this one. Look at the smiling grifter
Yeah, it suits his game more.
Funny, that reminds me of something:
Look how pretty he looked missing all those 3s.
Anywho...seriously, someone watched The Cleveland Show and said "let's let that guy host the Oscars?" Oi. I need to rethink things.
