I was hoping that when I logged on to CH this evening I would find that someone had been bored enough during the Super Bowl power outage to have posted a preemptive musical preview for the Wolves/Trail Blazers game. Alas, it was not to be, though I cannot say I am surprised.

I'll make it short and snappy. We've plowed the Pacific Northwest's musical treasures a time or two already. So let's take a look at the states between Portland and the Twin Cities. Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, upper and lower Dakota are not as as well populated as most states, so perhaps that's why I can't think of a single musician or band that I associate with this broad expanse of America. I could Google it, but am too tired/lazy at the moment.
