The long and arduous Timberwolves season is grinding to an end, possibly with the return of Love, possibly without. The players are gassed, and many of us are as well. Even though we ARE bloggers and by nature shy and timid people, I feel strongly that it would be unwise to put this season to rest without at least trying to get together and exchange pleasantries, recipes, trade proposals( I am very much kidding about this one, so VooDoo, you are quite welcome, but leave the trade machine at home!), and hoist a round or two of your chosen beverage.
What say you Canis Hoopers, does this sound like a good way to send off Ricky and the squad to a Summer of recovery and new skills learned? My schedule would work best with this Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors, a team that beat us earlier in the year, but a game we should win now. This game is not televised locally and my experience with sports bars is very limited, so I consulted the magic google machine and came across these bars that have NBA League Pass: Minneapolis link, Saint Paul Link. If this sounds like a good idea, check out the links and recommend a place that appeals to you and is somewhat centrally located. The only one on the lists that I know anything about is the Village Pub in Saint Anthony on Hwy 88, but while it's clean and friendly it may be hard for anyone from the South Metro to get to. If we can get some sort of consensus, I'll call to verify that they will be showing the game that night.
I'm fairly certain we won't have as much fun as Katy Perry does here
but we can certainly tell Poor Dick what he missed. Come on CHer's, Let's do this!
