At SportsonEarth.com, Leitch publishes a piece, "Winter Is Coming," explaining why NBA head coaches like Lionel Hollins -- and those of his ilk -- manage in an outdated, antiquated fashion and are consequently on the chopping block.
Suffice it to say, they've reached their expiration date like spoiled, rotten milk.
Over the past few weeks, I've been one of the more bold, in-your-face anti-Hollins/pro-Hollinger voices around here and, well, could see this coming a mile away. Soon, David Joerger will supplant Hollins and the Grizzlies will be better for it.
Like Leitch, I feel as if this is just the beginning of a ruthless, yet necessary process of overhauling the coaching profession. Brace yourselves, folks. Ultimately, this bloodbath will mirror that of the "Red Wedding" on Game of Thrones.
