So if you haven't heard by now, Andrei Kirilenko is now a Brooklyn Net, joining the over haul that the Nets have accomplished this season. So Far that is the addition of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and AK-47 to a core with Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez and Andray Blatche already. And all it took? 3.1 million per year with a player option for the second year... Ak left 10 million over ONE YEAR to go for 4 million less over two years. All that and you know he is not starting over Paul Pierce. So what is AK thinking here? Sounds pretty easy... A ring. But is that really going to happen, even with this paper champion team... in the EAST. OVER the HEAT?!
Peter Vecsey: This just in: Nets have signed. Kirilenko for mini mid-level, 3.1M per Twitter @PeterVecsey1
Stefan Bondy: Kirilenko has signed a two-year deal for MLE. Second year is player option, according to source. Twitter @NYDNInterNets
Just sad that Flip couldn't figure out a way to pay AK 3.1 to come back... And yet paid OVER that to bring back good ole' Mr. Brewer and his pet goat. Flip, you disappoint me again.
