Well wolves fans, Kmart is about to be a big thing in Minnesota again. And this isn't the blue light special.

Today has marked the biggest FA haul out beloved Timberwolves have had since the time of Spree, Cassell and KG. Martin bring a true scoring SG to the Pups, which coupled with the agreement of Chase Budinger earlier today, makes it quite a good day.

This is a guy that can legitimately put up 20 ppg while getting you 3 boards and 2 assists. Guaranteed the Wolves might now have some problems on D, but this is a step in the right direction. It does seem to end the talks of AK47 coming back to the Wolves, however.

Y! Sources: Oklahoma City free agent Kevin Martin agrees to a four year, $28 million deal with Minnesota.

After agreeing to T-Wolves deal, Kevin Martin tells : "Minny was my 1st option outside OKC, so I’ve got to take it."

More Martin: "Especially being (with coach Rick) Adelman, & their starting lineup just needed a 2-guard, so I feel like it’s a perfect fit."

The Wolves still have trade pieces available in Derrick Willams, Luke Ridnour and J.J. Barea, and hopefully 2 of those can be packaged for a defensive minded player that can step in and help out with the deficiency on defense this team will most likely have.

Next step. Pek. Time to set this team up as one to be feared.

What say you, CH?
