Fantasy Football Open Thread

Hey guys! So I have my big fantasy football draft coming up soon and I need some advice I'm really struggling to figure out what my game plan will be

I pick 8th in a 10 team snake draft so my picks would be 8/12/28/32/48/52/68etc

The strategy I am thinking would be best would be to target Calvin Johnson at 8 and then Alfred Morris or Trent Richardson at 12

If I've been reading "fantasy rankings" correctly it seems the first 7 players are all running backs so getting the best receiver on the planet might be a good move?

My issue is I was in a similar spot last year, I think I had the 6 or 7 pick and went Johnson and I was hurting for running backs all season

my #28 pick seems like a good spot to get a wideout like Julius Jones, but the running backs get really thin after pick 12-15. Do I maybe get a little reachy and go Richardson at 8 and Morris at 12 (or some derivative of two starting caliber running backs?) and then maybe wait and try and get Jones at 28 and maybe Cecil Shorts at 48/52?

Lastly we play a 2 QB system with standard scoring. This is the first year we are doing this. In this system how early is too early to get a QB? I'm kinda liking Cam Newton, I think he'll be a sem-sleeper since he's coming off of a sort of a disappointing sophomore season but do I use a 3rd/4th round pick on a QB considering I need 2 starters?

I would say this could be an open thread to discuss fantasy if you would like to discuss fantasy football :)
