Lets just assume that the Chicago Bulls are willing to park ways with most of their players. Who do we want? And what are we willing to part with? Lets get the obvious out of the way right now, Carlos Boozer is not getting traded this year. Nobody is taking his contract, not this year at least. Rose ain't going nowhere. Butler and Noah are questionable.
The guy I have always liked as a backup big is Taj Gibson. Taj plays much taller then 6'9. I can see Taj and Love together as well as Taj and Pek. Shooting from the elbow is not his strength like shooting from the baseline is, but it might be the fact that the Bulls offense does not give him as many opportunities to shoot from the elbow that often. The #1 reason I like Taj, he plays defense. I honestly believe he would be a very good upgrade front Dante. Draft Picks, maybe a rookie and our expiring contract I am willing to part with for him. Taj might not be a serious need for us, but it never hurts to upgrade when its available.
Dunleavy might come cheap!? An expiring contract might get him onto another team. His shooting ability will help any team. I like him, but i'm not going to gun for him. i'd certainly be happy though!
Captain Kirk. Kirk is not really playing very well this season. But he isn't a starter either, even though he is currently playing that role. I would take him as an insurance policy for sure. His one year contract doesn't hurt either.
Now i'm not saying Chicago is in FIRE SALE mode. But they might be in a couple weeks. There is also a lot of guys on the Wolves I am NOT willing to part with, respectively. (I hate when ppl use the word "respectively" when discussing athletes or entertainers. I just wanted to feel what it felt like to be a douche bag.)
