(my first fanpost so go easy on me. im actually a bucks fan cream city for life but we are tankin' so I've moved over here until we draft jabari. Shabbaz is my favorite player in the L.)
A lot of wolves fan think bazz is a bust because he was a year older than the other people when he was at UCLA. Obviously his breakout game ended these thoughts but the mistake you all made was waiting that long to see the white light. Right now you're probably saying what the hell does this guy know? well i will tell you.
shabbaz muhammad had to overcome a serious disorder to become the guy, no, the man he is today.
"He would start shaking in the middle of a game," said Muhammad’s father, Ron Holmes. "His guy would go right around him. I thought he would never be able to play basketball. How could he when he couldn’t stand still and stop convulsing in the middle of a play?"
Dude has Tourette's Syndrome.
He was harrassed endlessly and bullied but he overcome it WITHOUT MEDICINE (just a tool of the government anyway). How many of you have overcome anything in your life? I'm guessing not many. It shows the will and the strength you have to be successful on the court. You shake Tourette's you can shake Paul George on a breakaway. You control your tics you can control Kevin Durant.
Eventually, Muhammad began to shrug off the disorder entirely. Upon returning home from middle school one day, Faye Muhammad told her son she recorded an informational television program about adolescents living with Tourette syndrome. He wanted no part of it.
"That’s not me," he quipped back. "I don’t want to watch that."
