Or stupid idea? Consider this:
A high quality coffee table book showing a series of three photographs taken or pulled from game footage of:
1) Kevin Love passing the ball to Corey Brewer
2) Corey Brewer catching the ball
3) Corey Brewer dunking the ball
Admittedly this is a minimalist concept for a book, but I for one would turn every page. Advertise for fan photos and pay for the best ones to go along with the best shots from game footage. Glen owns a printing company fer cripes sake — this would be easy to do and would be way classier than your average Vikings tribute book or video.
How many touchdown passes were there? I wouldn't even know how to look because I'm talking strictly full court passes ending in baskets. Maybe include pictures of the misses?
It would take good source material, photo selection and lay out but I think what those two guys did was singular enough to warrant a book. Enough with the replays, carefully chosen photographs would tell the story much better.
This wouldn't be a moneymaker, but it would be a very sweet bit of swag with which to promote the team and massage Kevin Love's ego. It would create some decent income for the people putting it together so it would also be a jobs thing not to mention the anti-crime angle but we're not talking government funding, just Glen spending a little more for a sweet stocking stuffer for the employees and fans.
What think you?
