Kahn + OJ Mayo + Knuckle Pushups + 1.7% = Wiggins in Minnesota

A overview of how all these years of misery have led to this point. Full of links to great past memories.

This is the magical math equation for this day, because of this

Now in case you don't understand the "math equation" I put in the title, I'll break it down for you:

Kahn

David Kahn used to (unfortunately) be the President of Basketball Operations for the Twolves. I'm not going to go in to much detail about it, because it has been well documented on this site, especially the part about not giving Love the 5 year max which is why we need to trade him now to get a valuable return.

OJ Mayo

OJ Mayo was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves, and traded for Kevin Love along with other players in the 2008 NBA draft.

Knuckle Push-ups

Knuckle Push-ups were the reason Kevin Love broke his hand, causing him to miss most of the season in which many people thought the Wolves had a good chance at making the playoffs. Not making the playoffs while Love was a Wolf is a main reason why we are in this predicament today.

1.7%

The lottery odds that the Cavs would win the lottery this year. If they don't win the lottery, they don't get Wiggins (most likely) and we (most likely) don't trade Love to the Cavs.

= Wiggins in Minnesota

All these years of unlucky circumstances all lead us to where we are today, with a very good chance of Wiggins getting traded for Love and the Twolves maybe getting the next LeBron in the making. Maybe all of these bad years may add up to something great. Or maybe we will be dissapointed as Wiggins becomes a bust and we start over again.

I could've added plenty about other coaches and players who affected Love's tenure in Minnesota, but I feel like everybody doesn't need to keep reading the same stuff that we have seen and heard lately and over all these years. I know that this FanPost isn't anything new, I just felt like throwing events that have happened together just to see how crazy it is how we are here.
