Draft Express 2013 Mock Draft

1

Sorry if this is a re-post. Came across DX's mock and was surprised to see them having the Wolves take Zeller at 9. Would the logic here be to take Zeller so they can let Pek walk? Or sign and trade for Pek? Also surprised to see them have the Wolves take Rice (SF) at 26 instead of a SG. Thoughts?

Wolves Ownership News Coming... Phil Jackson Rumor Starting

1

Read this article (please)... I just read it and found the last line about Phil Jackson and Glen Taylor's "no comment" as the best way to start a rumor out there... I'm not sure that I'd want him over Adelman, or how all of that would even work out if Adelman is staying (which I hope he does). Anyhow - I figured those of you with stronger opinions and more knowledge than I have would be curious about this.

Report: Wolves Fire Kahn, Saunder To Replace Him

+

According to NBA.com, Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations David Kahn has been fired. But here's the twist... Flip Saunders will likely replace him. According to the report, Saunders, 58, and Wolves owner Glen Taylor have met several times over the past few weeks and are in the process of negotiating a contract that would run through 2018. The Wolves were 89-223 during Kahn's tenure which, in fairness, included key injuries to Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio and Chase Budinger. But missing on high draft picks Jonny Flynn, Wes Johnson and others was always a staple of Kahn's time in the front office. More in link.
