I was thinking about Rubio and what he brings to the table and found this highlight clip. I highly recommend watching it and thinking about this team. We've been talking a lot about missing him and Love and having to rely on Shved, Roy, and AK. But here's what struck me (besides how much force he passes the ball with sometimes): this dude is going to make so many guys on this roster look awesome. Dante Cunningham is going to absolutely love playing with Rubio. AK47 will feast. Pek will feast. Budinger will have 4 easy three looks a game. Love will continue to feast. A lot has been and will be said about whether Roy and Rubio can co-exist, but once he's back I think all will agree - Ricky is the straw that stirs this team's drink. His star may not shine as bright as Roy's or Love's or Pek's this year, but whatever he does transcends the boxscore and makes great things happen.
