Minnesota Timberwolves Top 10 Plays of the 2012 Season
Andrei Kirilenko Olympic mix (with a lot of Alexey Shved), for anyone that's interested. (Little bit of explicit lyrics in one section)
I cant think of anyone who dislikes Anthony Tolliver. If this is the end of his time here, let's celebrate him. (Also, if he's still here . . . I have a suggestion he won't like . . .)
Great Pek Youtube video
Shved and Kirilenko when they heard they were going to Minnesota.
Commercial with Ricky Rubio playing soccer? Kinda cool. It appears to be an ad for a brand of milk.
Chase Budinger thus far has been a productive (albeit in limited minutes) wing player who can legitimately handle the ball and shoot. His PER is basically the league average and his WS/48 are above average. In fact, as Tim pointed out, his lowest WS/48 is higher than any Wolves wing in the last few years. He's also athletic (dunked over PDiddy. Heyoo), and has a fan in Rick Adelman. For the Rockets, they're after one of two things: the #5 pick to get Andre Drummond, or a trade for Dwight Howard. D12 doesn't do them a whole lot I don't think. Obviously he makes them better, but what are the chances he stays past the end of the season? (or even to the end of the season) But at any rate, this gives Houston 3 first round picks this year alone, which is pretty good bait. And McHale never did come to like Budinger. He likes Chandler Parsons. For the Wolves, well....he's not Kevin Martin, but that's not altogether a bad thing. For one, he costs a fraction of what KMart costs. Two, this way, the Wolves retain their other trade assets. Barton and Crowder are still very much in the conversation (White too, depending on how you value his draft stock). Or, if you want to think bigger, perhaps Andre Iguodala or Luol Deng? Hmmm At any rate, my first take on this is it's a good deal. Chase Budinger has always reminded me of Brent Barry. I liked Brent Barry. Brent Barry was a hell of a basketball player. Hopefully Chase will be too.
