Will Dirk wink at me? Will a team of Mavericks lose by over 10 points in Minnesota today? On Tuesday? Will K-Love get more than 20 minutes of burn? Will Our Beloved Puppies shoot more than 15 three point shots in a game? Will Sweetwater Jones once again grace our teevee screens? Will Randy Foye play significant minutes in the 4th quarter? Does 23% of this collection of Texans think that Barack Obama is a secret Muslim? Will the calm demeanor of Dwayne Casey finally snap and will he take a swing at Kevin McHale? Will David Hasselhoff be in attendance?
The answers to these and many other questions will be answered tonight, at 7 PM against the feared Dallas Mavs. Dallas is coming off a tough loss against Houston.

You can let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below. This game is the first part of the Wolves' first back-to-back of the season. Tomorrow night they travel to OKC to play the Thunder. While you're waiting for all the fun to begin you can take the time to read this study from the Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports about the performance of NBA teams on the tail-end of a back-to-back. As you may remember, the Wolves have a league-leading 11 back-to-backs scheduled. You don't want to call the 2nd game a "must win", but it is essential that they pick off low-hanging fruit like OKC if they are going to make their win goals for the season.
Until later.
