For those who haven't heard, the Wolves' other 2006 2nd round pick is currently playing for Greek club Olympiacos (Euroleage team page), with former NBA players Qyntel Woods, Lynn Greer, Arvydas Macijauskas and Jake Tsakalidis. NBA draft picks Sofocles Schortsanitis (LA Clippers, 2003), George Printezis (San Antonio, 2007) and Renaldas Seibutus (Dallas, 2007) are also on the team. Moreover, infamous Timberwolf Marc Jackson appears to no longer be with the team.
Looks like Olympiacos won't be headed to the Euroleague 2008 Final Four after they lost to CSKA Moscow last week.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Loukas has made a whole lot of progress this year. He averaged 12 minutes in 10 of the team's 23 games. Born in 1984, Mavrokefalidis is coming up on the time when he'll have to show some progress or be written off.
