Holiday Gift Idea for Dads with Girls

The Minnesota Lynx, in conjunction with the National Basketball Academy, today announced the team will host a basketball clinic on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Southview Middle School in Edina, Minnesota. Lynx All-Star guard and Hutchinson native Lindsay Whalen will be on hand to run the clinic, along with the National Basketball Academy's Steve Brown. Girls in grades three through eight are invited out to learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling and defense.

The information for the clinic is as follows:

Edina Holiday Basketball Clinic
Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for girls in Grades Three to Eight
Whalen will instruct from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Southview Middle School Gymnasium

Edina, MN 55424

For a $55 fee, each clinic participant receives one free ticket to the 2011 Lynx regular-season Home Opener, as well as instruction from Timberwolves/Lynx staff members. Additional game tickets for parents or family members will also be available at a discounted price.
