From Adrian Wojnarowski's twitter account:

Wolves haven't gotten enough credit for how bad of a team that is. What an embarrassment. I'm sure Kahn's great credentials give all hope.

From Jerry Zgoda/Star Tribune:

Jefferson returned to action and started the game alongside Darko Milicic in the frontcour t after he missed the past two games on a personal leave because a female relative was hospitalized in the Twin Cities.

Jefferson declined to speak about the matter.

"He feels good," Rambis said before the game. "He still has concern for his family member and the struggles that are going on there. He feels very confident that situation is getting better, and he feels good about getting back on the basketball court."

Jefferson scored five points and had three rebounds in 30 minutes.

From Jerry Zgoda/Star Tribune:

Several Timberwolves players took a stroll through the French Quarter on Saturday evening after dinner and came upon the all-too-recent aftermath of seven people shot on Canal Street at the edge of the Quarter.

Love, Wayne Ellington, Damien Wilkins, Jonny Flynn, Ryan Gomes and Brian Cardinal saw people lying bleeding in the street and in a storefront about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, just after the popular French Quarter Festival officially had closed for the night.

"We were walking home from dinner and we heard what sounded like gunshots just down the next block," Flynn said. "It was pretty crazy. I think if we had left five minutes earlier, we would have been right in the middle of everything. It was a blessing we weren't."

From Tom Ziller/Fanhouse:

If Milicic made a real, measurable difference for this team on defense, sacrificing Love's playing time might be the right thing to do. But, while the team stunk with Jefferson and Love starting together, it stinks now! Worse! And Love is being wasted playing only 29 minutes a game. The cards are stacked against Kahn and Rambis already; this Darko adoration at Love's expense is just making things more difficult.
