From the Timberwolves site:
The Minnesota Timberwolves will be participating in two preseason games in October as part of NBA Europe Live presented by EA SPORTS™, the NBA announced today. The Wolves will play the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 4 at The O2 in London and will face the New York Knicks on Oct. 6 in Paris at the Palais Omnisports Paris Bercy. Along with the three NBA teams (Minnesota, Los Angeles and New York), Regal FC Barcelona (FCB) and AC Milano from Euroleague Basketball will be participating in the series of preseason games in October to be hosted in Barcelona, London, Milan and Paris.
From the Associated Press:
This is the fifth straight year of the "NBA Europe Live" tour. The Timberwolves also participated in 2007, playing games in both Istanbul and London.
From Ray Richardson/Pioneer Press:
Joining the Wolves, Lakers and Knicks this fall in NBA Europe Live will be Regal FC Barcelona and AC Milano, two franchises in Euroleague Basketball. Guard Ricky Rubio, a Wolves first-round draft pick last year, plays for Regal FC Barcelona, which will face the Lakers on Oct. 7 in Barcelona.
The Wolves will have training camp here at home rather than overseas, as they did in 2007, when they held training camp in Istanbul.
