From the FanShots: Gazzetta: Pekovic to join Wolves this summer

From  Joe Freeman/The Oregonian:

The NBA predraft camp is scheduled for May 19-23 in Chicago, where NBA management groups will gather as prospects undergo medical and physical testing and do skill work. Although there won't be scrimmaging or live play, the Blazers will have a chance to sit down with potential draft targets for one-on-one interviews.

After the camp, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host a "supercamp" that will allow NBA front offices to evaluate dozens of players in scrimmages and games. A similar multi-day camp will take place in New Jersey in early June.

From Charley Walters/Pioneer Press:

Minnesota Timberwolves president David Kahn is scouting point guard Ricky Rubio this weekend in the European championships in Paris. Rubio, the Wolves' top draft pick last June, is averaging 6.5 points and 4 assists, shooting 34 percent from three-point range and 36.2 percent overall.

From the Associated Press:

Minnesota Timberwolves top draft pick Ricky Rubio had 10 points and eight assists today as Barcelona beat CSKA Moscow 64-54 to advance to the Euroleague basketball finals in Paris.

They face Partizan Belgrade or Olympiakos in the title game Sunday.
