Wolves Updates 6/14

Team hosts first of several workouts, Kahn expects to make trade before draft and more

From Adrian Wojnarowski/Yahoo! Sports:

John Grieg, the agent for Cousins, won’t send his client to workout for the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources say, because he believes the Wolves have decided to draft Syracuse small forward Wesley Johnson.

From Phil Miller/Star Tribune:

• In addition to Whiteside, the Wolves also worked out UConn forward Gavin Edwards, Cal forward Jamal Boykin and Spanish forward Pablo Aguilar in the first of what they expect to be six or seven workouts.

• Kahn reiterated his expectation that he will make a trade before the draft, "but I'm not sure if that means [they will move] up, down or sideways."

• Trade talks have been slow, he said, but "this is the week where it really intensifies."
