Johnson on his future in the league and more

From Brent Axe/Syracuse.com:  Wes Johnson on his Draft Night Outfit, a reunion with Jonny Flynn, and his NBA Future (Podcast)

From Bob Matthews/Democrat and Chronicle:

The team needs a charismatic young player to help turn on the fans, and management hopes Johnson can be the man.

Minnesota is hoping that Johnson will become the team's go-to forward. Management hopes he'll develop the mindset to want to take the big shot. But he didn't always assume that role at SU.

I believe Johnson will be a solid NBA player for a long time, but I don't project him as an all-star-level player. Minnesota might be expecting him to deliver more than he can, especially early in his pro career.

From Alex Kennedy/Hoopsworld:

David Lee – With LeBron James on their mind, the New York Knicks aren't making Lee a priority going into this summer. While Lee recently said that he could be a nice compliment to James, it doesn't appear as if the Knicks see him in that role, especially at Lee's high asking price. The New Jersey Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves are both interested and there is a good chance Lee will find a new home, and some stability, this summer.
