From Joe Santoro/Nevada Wolf Pack Examiner:

Jason Glover has prepared his entire professional life for this moment.

The former Nevada Wolf Pack assistant men's basketball coach said Tuesday that he has accepted a coaching position with the Minnesota Timberwolves of the NBA.

"I've coached AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) starting with 6-year-olds, I've coached in high school (at Las Vegas Rancho), I've coached in Utah in junior college (Dixie State), I've coached Division I with the Wolf Pack (1993-1999), I've coached in the D-League (Reno Bighorns the last two years) and now I'm going to the NBA," the 48-year-old Glover said. "Not too many guys can say they've coached at every level of basketball."

From Charley Walters/Pioneer Press:

Saint Louis basketball coach Rick Majerus was in town the other day scouting 6-foot-7, 220-pound Cretin-Derham Hall junior forward C.J. Newmann. Meanwhile, former Cretin-Derham Hall sharpshooter Steve Sir, who shot 70 percent from three-point range in Mexico City last season, was to get a workout with the Wolves on Tuesday.
