Night #1 in the NBA is here, and the league slate tips off with three games. Enjoy.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

The season is finally upon us, and the league gets underway with three games tonight. This is to whet your appetite for tomorrow's Wolves opener.

Magic at Pacers
6:00pm Central

Get a look at the Wolves first opponent, the Magic, who open in Indianapolis tonight. The Pacers are one of Eastern favorites (for me, anyway), and it will be interesting to track their improved bench this season. Danny Granger...still out.

Bulls at Heat
7:00pm Central TNT

TNT has a strong double-header for opening night, starting with the defending champion Heat hosting the Chicago Bulls and the return of Derrick Rose to NBA basketball for the first time in a year and a half. Chicago is viewed as a favorite to challenge Miami this year. Should be a good one.

Clippers at Lakers
9:30pm Central TNT

Doc Rivers debuts as Clippers coach, and we get to see if things start out as poorly for the Lakers as we hope/expect.

Finally our thirst for NBA basketball gets slaked tonight.

Enjoy the games.
