The Minnesota Timberwolves survived in overtime in their season opener 120-115.
After a strong start to the game and an 11 point lead after one quarter, the Wolves slowly saw their lead deteriorate as the Magic found the range and began making shots.
The Magic eventually took the lead in the 4th quarter, and only a Kevin Love three pointer in the last 10 seconds sent the game to overtime, where the Wolves controlled the action with big plays from the entire lineup, which consisted of Love, Kevin Martin, Ricky Rubio, Nikola Pekovic, and Corey Brewer.
Love finished with a game high 30 points and 17 rebounds.
Tim will be here with a full recap later.
Wolves win. 1-0.
