Well, that ended badly.
What always seemed like a bad idea--a one off game on a Wednesday night in Mexico City-- turned out even worse then expected tonight when the game had to be postponed due to smoke in the arena.
Whether due to an escalator fire or a faulty generator--the two reported causes, the Mexico City Arena was rendered unusable.
Presumably the game will be rescheduled for Target Center as it was being counted as a Wolves home game. No word on when that might happen.
The Wolves will head back to Minneapolis where they will face the Heat on Friday night.
We'll update if/as needed.
