First, a few notes:

In coaching news, Jerry Sloan interviewed with the Milwaukee Bucks. That would be fun for this resident of Madison. Not sure Sloan can really work anymore as a head coach, but it would be interesting to watch. One assumes that he's not all that eager to coach the current back court, but you never know.

Draft Express has a video scouting report up about one of the Canis Hoopus favorites, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

For those of you who can't get enough, ESPNU and ESPN2 will be televising the combine. Seems even less interesting then actually watching college basketball, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Here's the info.

The NBA All Defense teams have been announced. Marc Gasol, who the writers chose as the DPOY, only (barely) managed to make 2nd team All-Defense, as voted by the coaches. Awards are a mess. Here are the 1st and 2nd teams

Two game fours tonight:

Heat at Bulls (2-1 Heat): 6pm Central on TNT

The Heat have taken back control of this series after their game one loss. This has been a very edgy series, with multiple ejections, flagrant fouls, and technicals over the last two games. The Bulls need to get themselves under control, but in the end, especially without Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich, the just seemed over matched. I'll be rooting for them to win tonight and really make Miami work for it, but Miami is clearly the better team.

Thunder at Grizzlies (2-1 Grizzlies): 8:30pm on TNT

A must win for the Thunder tonight on the road, against a Grizzlies team that has just looked better throughout the series. Serge Ibaka's disappearing offense is one of the big stories for the Thunder, as they need scoring from him and Kevin Martin in support of Kevin Durant. Things are going badly when you are relying on Derek Fisher to bail you out with a bunch of threes. These games have all been close, and I expect the same tonight, but the Thunder need to find a way to close one out.
