Timberwolves Hold First Individual Workouts: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in Twin Cities

The day after the conclusion of the big, league-wide group workout in Minneapolis, the Wolves begin holding workouts of their own. Six players are expected to work out for Flip Saunders and other Wolves staff.

The Thursday workout will include four shooting guards: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tim Hardaway Jr., Allen Crabbe, and Ricky Ledo.

Two big men will also be at Target Center: Mouphtaou Yarou and Gregory Echenique.

Only Caldwell-Pope is a possibility at 9, the other guards are possibilities later in the first round. The bigs are unlikely to be drafted at all.

This is the only workout the Wolves will hold until mid-June, as after this, Flip is on the road. He is scheduled to meet with Ricky Rubio in Miami on the weekend, then head to Europe for the Eurocamp, where he also hopes to meet with Alexey Shved and Nikola Pekovic.

One of the problems with the next month is: nothing happens. But there's a big internet out there that has to be filled up, to say nothing of television and actual print. So...there are a million mock drafts, but they have to change and be different to attract readers. There are countless made-up trades. (I kind of like made up trades). Anyway, it's gonna be a long month until the draft.

Two musical selections today. Very different. Both birthdays. First, Big L (d. 1999):
