Timberwolves Workout Thursday: Nogueira, Withey, Green, Delladova

And more workouts. More bigs and a couple of guards highlight today's workout with the Wolves at Target Center. Plus some random notes.

  • After yesterday's workout, Flip Saunders praised the shooting of both Mike Muscala and Cody Zeller, and said they were both clearly power forwards in the NBA. He thought Gobert had some potential but was a few years away. Here's a link to Flip talking.
  • Turns out he was unable to meet with Pek when he was in Europe, but is in contact with his agent.
  • We might get a couple of important Supreme Court rulings later this morning; I'll keep you updated.
  • Alex Len's ability to climb the draft board on crutches is startlingly impressive.
  • Jason Kidd has been hired as the coach of the Brooklyn Nets.
  • Here are some highlights from the USMNT's win over Panama. The crowd was fantastic in Seattle:

  • Their next game is on Tuesday in Salt Lake City against Honduras. They currently top their qualifying group and appear headed for Brazil. This was one of the best performances from the USMNT under Klinsmann.
