SB Nation Summer Power Rankings

Happy weekend everybody. Hope you are enjoying it. The weather in Madison is fantastic.

So a couple of weeks ago, the SBN NBA writers did a "power ranking" of the league. I assume most did it like I did, which was mostly off the cuff. I didn't spend a lot of time delving into advanced stats or anything. We wanted to get a consensus about where teams are heading toward the season. The results are in the table below.

Jason Patt wrote an article on this for the SBN NBA main page.

As you can see, the Wolves are the consensus 12th best team in the NBA. I think that's a fair but optimistic take on things, though it still puts them as the 7th seed in the West. Yikes.

Anyway, I thought this would be a good conversation piece for the weekend, so have at it. Where did we get it wrong?
