Timberwolves at Spurs
6:00 pm Central
Fox Sports North
Hey all, sorry for the limited posting this weekend; my folks are in town visiting, so I haven't had a lot of time to post. I also won't be able to watch the game tonight, so if anyone wants to do a recap, that would be fantastic.
Meanwhile, this is your first half game thread. This is a link to Pounding The Rock. Be excellent.
The Spurs are doing Spurs things, currently leading the Western Conference with a 28-8 record. They make shots from everywhere, control their defensive boards, and don't foul. They are 3rd in the league in offensive rating, and 5th in defense. In other words, they just keep rolling along.
This will be the Wolves second, and last, visit to San Antonio this season. The first was a 117-110 loss in which the Spurs dominated the 4th quarter after the Wolves had built a nine point lead. Too much depth and quality execution down the stretch was decisive. That was the game in which Kevin Love scored 42 points.
Expected lineups
