The Wolves beat the 76ers tonight at Target Center, 116-110.

It was a balanced effort, with seven players scoring in double figures. Nikola Pekovic made his season debut and had 12 points and 9 rebounds in 19 minutes of action.

Anthony Bennett made his Timberwolves debut, coming off the bench for 13 and 8. Bennett took 13 shots to get his 13 points, but had a couple of very impressive plays, including a spin move that led to a three point play, and an aggressive offensive rebound and dunk in the 4th quarter.

Mo Williams, also making his debut, led the Wolves with 19 points, including several big plays to hold off the Sixers late, and also added 7 assists.

The Wolves forced 23 turnovers, including 14 steals, something that might be a theme this season, and had a big night on the offensive glass, grabbing 14 to 4 for the Sixers.

It was a solid team effort, though the Sixers aren't exactly brimming with NBA talent. K.J. McDaniels looked like an NBA scorer, and Henry Sims was impressive inside.

John will have a full recap later.
