Timberwolves Beat Pacers 107-89

The Wolves cruised past the Pacers at Target Center tonight, 107-89.

The Wolves blew out the Pacers at Target Center tonight, taking control in the 2nd quarter and cruising from there to a 107-89 victory.

Unfortunately the game was not on TV, so I didn't see it, but happily John was there for us and will have a full recap in the morning. Meanwhile, it looks like the Wolves shot the ball very well tonight, and once again won the turnover battle, which hopefully will be a consistent theme this year.

Anthony Bennett had a big game off the bench, scoring 17 points in 17 minutes on 7-9 shooting. Ricky Rubio had a big game as well, with 16 on 4-8 shooting as well as 8 trips to the free throw line.

It was a good night overall, with key contributions from several players including Chase Budinger and Mo Williams, who were both in double figures.

Andrew Wiggins did not play after his fall in Tulsa on Sunday, but should be fine. Other than that, they played the guys I expect to be in the rotation for most of the game.
